Over the years, we’ve seen and heard it all. The good, the bad, and unfortunately, the brutally ugly. These experiences have truly molded us into the photographers we are today and have enabled us to be selective with WHO we pour our hearts and souls into.
Couples that value time, and cherish it
Couples that understand the priority of bride and groom portraits and put them on the top of their priority list
People who feel EVERYTHING intensely and passionately
Couples that write their own vows
Creative individuals that plan their wedding to mirror the awesome people they are
Details, and folks that appreciate them
Cultivating friendships with our couples
Couples that value/defer to our opinions
Manufactured/staged ‘too posey’ wedding images, Pinterest is NOT your wedding
Bridesmaids that think/act like the bride (or groom’s mothers or bride’s mothers) none of you are as important as the couple, it’s THEIR day not yours
Getting directions or orders from anyone other than the bride and groom
Pushy Planners/ Day of Coordinators that don’t have your best interest at heart
Videographers with hidden agendas (any vendor who isn’t team bride and groom)
Extensive shot lists/ all Pinterest ideas, this is YOUR wedding and YOU rock, so your wedding images will mirror the awesome couple you are, not some stranger from Pinterest.
Photoshopping anything into your photos (props, items, etc) We’re journalistic photographers and this goes against everything we believe. Same goes for making you skinnier, darling you’re beautiful JUST the way you are
Being called “the photographers” we’re John and Kelly guys, and we want to MEET YOU!
