Yvette + Trey- Beale Street Landing Wedding/ Memphis Wedding Photographer

I hope you guys don’t get easily overwhelmed by seriously attractive bride and grooms because let me tell you, we’ve hit the jackpot with Yvette and Trey. (I mean, I can’t even. Even their names are attractive (come on, you know they are.)
Trey and Yvette are not only the most smoking hot couple we’ve ever seen, they are also insanely intelligent and talented. Trey is a prestigious architect who graduated from Harvard. He has a serious eye for detail and aesthetics. Yvette is a successful attorney, a vegan, and an animal lover. I mean, what more do you want from these beauties? Don’t worry, it doesn’t stop there. These two powerhouses met in high school. YES, high school. Although they are not technically high school sweet hearts, they’ve basically been inseparable since the day the made it official.
John and I actually met Trey and Yvette three years ago at Lena (Trey’s sister) and Sallis’ wedding. Both John and I said to each other “We hope we get to shoot their wedding one day too!”
Trey and Yvette tied the knot in their hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. These guys don’t do anything “small” so I knew their wedding would be absolutely unique and it definitely was. They were married at the Beale Street Landing (the grass rooftop of the building) which had a jaw dropping backdrop of the Memphis skyline, Memphis Pyramid, and Memphis bridge. The venue itself is an architect’s dream. I mean, it’s curved, and makes you wonder how it can withstand any weight.
Yvette wore a plunging lace gown that nearly knocked Trey off of his feet during their first look from Maggie Louise. Speaking of favorite memories from their wedding day, as soon as the first look was wrapping up, Trey hugged Yvette and said “here’s my card.” (As he pretended to hand her a business card) which made everyone start laughing. Yvette did an outfit addition for the ceremony where she added a dainty tulle skirt. It was a surprise for Trey, so he got to see her walk down the aisle in a different light. Trey and Yvette hired a Scottish bagpiper for the ceremony which entertained the guests and really set the mood.
CFY Catering really outdid themselves with the selection of vegan/pescatarian options that not only tasted delicious, but also photographed beautifully. Amy Tyler and her team were there to ensure the day ran smoothly, and it most definitely did.
Trey + Yvette, thank you for letting us spend the day with you both!
